Anni is one of the most inspiring and warm individuals I have ever worked with. She is dedicated to the quality of the work she produces and is so passionate about her industry. Growing up in the Middle East, she is no stranger to travel and immersing herself in different cultures. Now living in the States on the Northern Pacific Coast, Anni blends her worldly background with the moody, coastal vibe of her current home.
We wanted to pay homage to her previous branding, an ornamental mark that pulls from her childhood in India - exploring the intricacies of Middle Eastern textile and tile design and rich colors of the spice market. We decided to pair this bold past with her current location on the Western coast of the United States, with smoky overcast skies and expansive minimalism.
ART DIRECTION
We were inspired by her awe-inspiring outdoor experiences, pulling natural colors gathering visual cues from the shapes of key landmarks and texture of the natural world. We decided to combine her Middle Eastern upbringing with her Pacific Western home base into a distinct blend of styles that would feel uniquely her own.
The primary logo mixes all of the elements into a strong first impression. Her monogram is an interlaced design between the first letter of her brand name in an oval that mimics the shape of the crest. Her main color palette is based on natural tree and topography tones, mixed with some muted blush tones that are reminiscent of wildflowers. A deep navy is a nod to the mountains and the beige mustard rounds out the palette to give a warm sunny glow. The darker tones add an air of depth and importance when paired with the more playful and whimsical icons to keep everything feeling balanced and appropriate for major life milestones.

SCOPE OF WORK
We extended her brand’s visual palette by creating a series of custom icons inspired by locations her brides are drawn to - the evergreen forests of the mountains and valleys, the swaying palm trees of the coastal regions, and the vast and eternal landscape of the desert. From these icons, we created a series of brand patterns for Anni to use in her client experience materials, on her website, and for marketing purposes.
Since launching the new brand mid-2020, Anni has continued to travel the world documenting elopements for couples worldwide. Little did we know when starting this project at the very beginning of 2020 that a global pandemic would hit, halting travel and large gatherings. But as an elopement photographer, Anni is now perfectly positioned for those looking to celebrate the milestones that were missed during this time and do so from some of the most epic travel destinations in the world.
