Drop Cap Design is a multi-disciplinary branding studio that builds distinct identities for digital brands. As a studio, we strive to create stand-out brands that convert to loyal clients and customers. We are passionate about creating original design concepts, pushing the envelope of digital trends, and co-creating alongside our clients to help them bring their vision to life.

We are adding to our creative team and looking for website designers who live and breathe design, who love trying new ideas and breaking the mold of digital trends, who are obsessed with typography and want to spend their days dreaming up swoon-worthy concepts. This is not a development position, but could translate to development work as skill and interest align. You will work directly with Kadie, our founder and art director, and Ashley, our client experience manager, as well as our entire team of contractors and creatives who work together to help our clients bring their brands to life.

Part time, based on project scope. Our ideal candidate would generally be available to check slack and their email inbox during 9-5 CST business hours.
TIME REQUIREMENTS
This is an independent contractor position within the studio and requires someone who is comfortable working within a creative team. We are collaborative, supportive, and diligent, but your role as a web designer is to provide your expert opinion and ideas relating to the website's potential and design, while also being able to accept constructive feedback and meet deadlines.
TEAM ROLE
Compensation will be based on experience and location but likely $85/hr as a contractor. This is an ideal position for a freelancer.

We are adding to our creative team and looking for graphic designers who live and breathe logo design, color palettes and typography, and are excited to break the mold of trends online. You will work directly with Kadie, our founder and art director, to craft and develop strong brand identities and develop captivating campaigns, and Ashley, our client experience manager, as well as our entire team of contractors and creatives who work together to help our clients bring their brands to life.

We are collaborative, supportive, and diligent, but the Business Manager is the studio's checkpoint for punctuality, customer support, quality control, and must have the ability to offer constructive feedback to the team.

In 2014, I started my studio out of a desire to support my friends in the creative industry — the artists who had talent and potential that was hidden from the world. Along the way, I’ve worked with over 100 small businesses to help tell their story to a captivated audience. In many cases, I’ve had the privilege of further developing brands once they’ve found success post-launch.
